Joining our Affiliate Program

Can anyone join the Chicwear.com.my Affiliate Program?

Yes. You can join our Affiliate Program as long as you are above 18 years of age and a resident in Malaysia.

How do I join the Chicwear.com.my Affiliate Program?

Just complete our online Affiliate Sign Up and we will notify you by email once your application has been reviewed.

Do I have to pay a fee to join your Affiliate Program?

No. Joining our Affiliate Program is completely free.

Do I have to pay any renewal fee after joining your Affiliate Program?

No. You do not pay us anything at all.

Will my affiliate membership be reviewed periodically?

Yes. Affiliate memberships and affiliate websites are reviewed periodically to ensure our affiliates adhere to the terms and conditions contained in our Affiliate Agreement.

Earning Affiliate Commission

How much commission do you pay affiliates?

We pay our affiliates 15% commission for every referred customer that purchases an item at our Chicwear.com.my boutique. The commission is calculated based on the value of the purchase.

How will I be paid my affiliate commission?

You can choose to have us either send you a cheque or deposit the sum into your bank account. You can set your preferred payment option in the Edit Profile section of your Affiliate Panel.

When will I be paid my affiliate commission?

You will receive your commission at the end of every month so long as the total commission due to you exceeds RM100 or a higher sum as determined by you. You can set your minimum payout level in the Edit Profile section of your Affiliate Panel.

What happens if my affiliate commission earned is less than RM100 a month?

If the commission due to you is less than RM100 at the end of each month, we will let your account accummulate until the total commission due to you exceeds RM100. We will then pay you the total commission due to you at the end of that month. In other words, you will only receive your commission once it accummulates to more than RM100.

Do you impose any charges or deductions on my affiliate commission?

No. We do not impose any charges or deductions. The 15% commission you earn is the net amount due to you. However, we reserve the right to effect a chargeback or reverse your commission for a particular referred purchase if it was subsequently determined that the transaction was fraudulent in nature.

What currency do you use to calculate and pay affiliate commissions?

Commissions are calculated and paid in Ringgit Malaysia (RM).

Will I still earn a commission if the referred customer does not make a purchase immediately but only does so a few days later?

The cookies employed by our tracking system have a 90-day expiry period. You will receive a commission for any purchase made by the referred customer within this 90-day period.

Will I earn a commission on subsequent or repeat purchases by the same customer?

You will receive a commission on any number of purchases by the same customer within the 90-day expiry period mentioned above.

I received an email notification informing me of an affiliate sale, but why is my affiliate commission on this transaction pending?

Commissions remain unconfirmed and pending until the sale transaction is complete. Your commission will be approved once the sale transaction is successfully completed.

Why does my Affiliate Panel show that my affiliate commission on certain sale transactions are declined?

Your commission will be declined if the sale transaction concerned is not successfully completed. This could be due to non-payment or order cancellation by the referred customer.

Using the Affiliate Link

What is a Chicwear.com.my affiliate link?

An affiliate link is a unique link given to our affiliates to place on their website or blog. Visitors will then be directed to our website when this affiliate link is clicked.

Where do I find my Chicwear.com.my affiliate link?

Once you login to your Affiliate Panel, it appears near the top as Your Affiliate Link.

How does a Chicwear.com.my affiliate link look like?

Do I have to use the full Chicwear.com.my affiliate link or can I shorten it for convenience?

It is very important that you use the full affiliate link you have been given. Any modification to your affiliate link may result in our tracking system failing to recognize your referrals and a loss of commission.

Do I need to sign up a separate affiliate account for each website or blog I intend to place a Chicwear.com.my affiliate link?

No. You only need to register once. You can then use the same account and same affiliate link for as many websites or blogs as you desire.

Can I place a Chicwear.com.my affiliate link in the emails I send to my friends?

Yes. Our Affiliate Program works even with emails. You can add our banner and affiliate link to your emails and our tracking system will still recognize your referrals.

Where else can I place a Chicwear.com.my affiliate link?

Our tracking system works with almost every type of webpage including forums, discussion boards, buletin boards and even classifieds.

Can I use other images from your Chicwear.com.my website with my affiliate link instead of the banners provided?

Yes. You may choose to use any other images from our website with your affiliate link if you prefer.

Managing your Affiliate Campaign

Will I be notified of each purchase referred from my website or blog?

You can choose to receive real-time email notification of all referred purchases. Just select this option in your Affiliate Panel.

What are the reports I can view in the Affiliate Panel?

You can view real-time satistics on total affiliate link impressions, clicks and sales. You can also view similar statistics for each banner you use as well as the performance of the various Urls where you placed a Chicwear.com.my affiliate link.

Is there a minimum referral target I have to achieve every month?

No. We do not impose any targets or obligations on our affiliates. You are free to earn as much as you can.
